Mystery Fire Shuts Down El Paso Bus Terminal — Cleanup Underway, Cause Unknown!
The Sun Metro bus terminal in Downtown El Paso remains partially shut down today as emergency crews and city contractors continue cleaning up the aftermath of a mysterious fire that broke out over the weekend. The fire, which erupted in the early morning hours of April 14th, sent smoke billowing across the city center and disrupted dozens of transit routes. According to the El Paso Fire Department, the blaze originated near the southern platform of the terminal, damaging a storage area and parts of the administrative building.
